All Olympics, all the time, pretty much all of August. Marking the last time it will be Canada's official Olympic broadcaster, at least for the next six years, CBC's 2008 Summer Games broadcast is aiming for its own kind of gold medal.

Interesting news from Brazil President Lula has launched yesterday an international fund to fight deforestation of the Amazon and support conservation and sustainable development. The fund will seek donations worldwide with the goal of raising 21 billion dollars by 2021. But will it really save the Amazon?

"MarketPlace" was broadcasted on Feb 6 and re-ran on CBC NewsWorld on Feb 9.
